School of Plant and Environmental Sciences
Focusing on the interactions between host lipid synthesis/composition and viral replication complex assembly is the primary interest of Dr. Xiaofeng Wang's lab. His goals are to advance our understanding of the viral RNA replication mechanism and develop broad-spectrum antiviral strategies. Currently Dr. Wang is working on the NSF funded project ‘Virus-host interactions in the assembly of positive-strand RNA virus replication complexes’ .
Research Interests
Viral replication mechanisms and virus-host interactions of positive-strand RNA viruses
